Les meilleures chances de cette septième course paraissent se trouver au deuxième échelon, avec notamment Gamay des Crouas, remarquable le 4 décembre à Châteaubriant, Guignol de Chardet, qui a terminé en trombe dernièrement au Mont-Saint-Michel, et Ginkgo Thélois, pas revu à droite toutefois depuis le mois de mars 2021. Gold de la Potel, qui a passé le poteau en tête (durant le premier semestre) lors de ses trois derniers parcours complètement pieds nus, Graziela d'El, deuxième avec ses chaussures le 10 novembre à Laval, et Goguette, dont le récent effort final (dans une course remporté par Gamay des Crouas) était assez intéressant, ont une belle carte à jouer pour une place. Les amateurs d'outsiders pourront jeter leur dévolu sur Goldigo Bello, très bien engagé à la limite du recul, et sur Galliano d'Eva, pas incapable de profiter d'éventuelles défaillances de nos préférés.
