Sur la montante, Peterhof se présente comme l'un des principaux postulants en vue de la victoire, dans ce Handicap (Classe 3) pour quatre ans et plus, à l'instar de Maavah, que l'on ne présente plus à ce niveau, mais aussi de Topinambur, venant de conclure au 3ème rang, à l'issue d'une belle fin de course, à l'arrivée d'une épreuve similaire disputée à Nancy (confirmation attendue !), puis d'Ithaque, dont la grande condition ne se dément pas, et de Karinas Dream, qui a déjà montré suffisamment de qualité pour s'illustrer à ce niveau. Environmentalist, faisant preuve d'une louable régularité, Warrior, bien que pénalisé pour son dernier succès, et You've Got Sail, à ne pas sous-estimer, sont autant de trouble-fête possibles.
