Plus rapide que tenace, Granit du Fresne semble avoir été préparé pour cet objectif, et aura notre préférence, face à Fergie Highland, tombée sur deux engins à Laval, Gourou, souffreteux mais largement compétitif chez les vieux tontons, comme Falcom du Bocage, proche de sa victoire, et Fuchsia du Rib, bien mal logé, mais incontournable sur sa valeur du 3 mai dernier où il devançait le pensionnaire de Pierre-Louis Desaunette... Derrière, Fox Trot Cerise, courageux, et Geode du Cherisay, lunatique, devront jouer des coudes pour terminer aux balances, à l'instar de Gibaldi de Houelle, lequel est bien situé aux gains comme la majorité des trotteurs précités, mais devra malheureusement faire avec "le neuf" en dehors.
