Intraitable pour sa rentrée le 18 mai à Scottsville, Dave The King aborde son premier objectif de l'année avec de légitimes ambitions, lui qui a déjà pu s'illustrer au plus haut niveau. Parfait sur le mile, c'est un favori tout indiqué au papier.
Pleinement rassurant en dernier lieu, après des performances moyennes, See It Again aura à coeur de confirmer son retour en forme en luttant activement pour le podium, en compagnie du jeune Cosmic Speed, qui aura fort à faire face aux "vieux" mais c'est un poulain qui a gagné Groupe II et fait l'arrivée de Groupe I l'an dernier. S'il tient la distance, il devrait être dans le match. Possédant des lignes très sérieuses et associée à Richard Fourie, Great Plains n'a pas dit son dernier mot et sera en embuscade pour les bonnes places comme Oriental Charm, qui risque d'être un peu pris de vitesse sur cette distance mais c'est un élément de classe, surtout pas incapable de s'immiscer à l'arrivée, Montien, qui sait terminer vite ou encore Gladatorian.
